2011 ends with a positive note
I didn't necessarily have a bad year in 2011. I mean, I had my ups and downs but overall, I'd say it was a productive, positive year for me.
I met a lot of new people, went to a lot of food outings, hung out with great friends, cheered on my Canucks during the playoffs, had some crazy project-related moments (some happy moments, some bad panicky moments resulting in zombie apocalyptic dreams...), got to know some people better in the lab and lastly, finished all my experiments.
All in all, it was a good year.
What I hope to see in 2012 is less encounters with assholes and manipulative smart-asses, a completed thesis, a published manuscript detailing my 6 years of suffering in school, and last but not least, hopefully I get to meet more people and make new (genuine) friends.
I hope to learn new things, make mistakes (amazing and bad) and to change myself for the better. Here's to a New Year! Here's to 2012!
