So we lost 4-0 against the Bruins, or as I like to call, the 'ruins. The team just wasn't there. They didn't produce goals. Even if Luongo was spectacular, it would have been a 0-0 game after the 3rd period.
Anyway, what I want to say is that the better team (regrettably) won and that team is the Bruins, so congrats to them. What I'll never congratulate are its fans - they get a fucking F- for their cheap, dirty, classless remarks towards everything Canadian and Canucks. They can fucking go to hell for all I care. They boo at us, boo at the fans, mock them on forums, yell out "Canada sucks!" during their home games, boo at toddlers wearing Canuck jerseys on the big screen, cheer when Mason Raymond is injured and boo at him when he's being dragged out by his teammates, it's deplorable, where do I stop. God, their fans are the worse. They make Leafs and Flames fans look like saints. I heard a number of Boston fans got injured during the riot - honestly, take that damn jersey off if you want your life spared. And mocking us Canadians won't make the situation better. Some probably didn't deserve the beating, whereas some probably did. Just saying.
I think the Canucks deserve a silver medal for their valiant efforts at advancing round by round (sort of like leveling in a video game) to the Finals game 7. Kudos to them for making it this far, and we, true fans, will cheer you on again next year. Don't worry, we'll be back, with more towel waving and GO CANUCKS GO chanting.
In other news, there was a crazy riot going on shortly after the game ended. Rioters and looters destroyed pretty much parts of downtown including streets, buildings, stores and shopping malls. This is just sad. Media should stop comparing those "Canucks fans" with us TRUE Canucks fans. They aren't fans. They're douchebag hooligans that just want to cause trouble. They didn't come for the game, they came for the fucking riot. There is a difference. Hopefully the world realizes this. In fact, a lot of the rioters and looters came prepared: they brought tools for starting riots, like gasoline, lighters, weapons (hammer-like objects used for smashing windows), bandanas for concealing their identities and faces, hooded shirts, black clothing, backpacks to store loot, fireworks to blow stuff up, knives to stab people with (which actually happened), the list goes on. A few rioters even admitted to coming for the sole reason for starting a riot. They already pre-planned this - the act of turning over vehicles and setting them on fire.
This is disgusting and it leaves a black eye to the city of Vancouver, which it does not deserve. How could a few hooligans cause so much property damage? They should be held accountable. I wish I had super powers, I'd crush each and every one of them into pulp if I had the chance. I honestly wished I had Superman's power, so I can throw every one of those damn rioters and looters into walls, crushing their vertebrae, Raymond-style. Or control a huge mob of mutant alien insects and they'd eat the guilty up like the perfect alien invasion movie.
Well, at least it's over. For now. I can get a good night's sleep, knowing that the dreaded playoffs are over, and the riots have stopped. Good night, Vancouver.
