what would be your reaction if someone sent you recieved this email?
Hi ****,
I'm taking an ethics class this semester and so far I find it interesting. We're currently discussing friendship and how Aristotle defines it. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Aristotle’s views, he believed there are three types of friendships: utility, pleasure, and the perfect friendship.
My professor assigned the class to write about Aristotle’s friendships and how they are applied in our lives. I've been thinking about all the people I've ever met and the type of friendships I've established with them. With us I couldn't decide.
At times I find myself thinking about you, if you're doing well and what you're doing. Times like those I want to see you and talk but then choose not to contact you. The rare times we do see one another I barely say anything because I don't know what to say.
I often think the most influential people in our lives are the ones we see the least. It's not the amount of time spent with someone but rather how you choose to spend your time with them. Hanging out and speaking to you gets me thinking; about everything; life, the world, interactions and conversations with other people.
Because of recent events that have occurred in my life I've realized life is to short. We rarely realize our time with other people is limited, not necessarily because of death but people move away or lose contact with each other.
Anyways with that being said I just wanted to share my thoughts with you.
Safe Journeys,
Kaitlyn
