Well, it is a sad day indeed for those who patronize The Lady. Dear Maya, our precious wolf, has been sold to her long-time admirer.
Following that sad bit is the happy news of a new anima though. A young girl, barely into adult hood, named Emi has joined the ranks of The Lady's staff. She's a precious deer who is a bit frightened now but once she gains her stage legs, be prepared for a spectacular performance.
We're still down one from our normal ten performers after Natsumi's departure. Hopefully a suitable replacement can be found soon to fill in the gap and with the ability to help create a truly spectacular performance.
Adding to the good news that is Emi's presence is the fact that the ship from Asteria finally came to port and we've restocked all of our Asterian liquors. So come, be merry, and please, have a good time.
Ever since that man brought up the past, I've been thinking about the situation. It may not be a bad idea to try and find that boy. I've got a description but no name. Still, perhaps a suitable detective may be able to track him down with that information alone.
An idea I should consider at the very least. If only that child had been a girl...this decision would have been so much simpler if that were the case.
