(no subject)
On a recommendation, I picked up 'A Guarded Love' and started reading it. Simply fantastic. Indeed, I rather don't want to put it down but unfortunately, life calls at certain moments.
I thank you all for coming out to Natsumi's debut. It was a fantastic event that drew in a full house. It seems our newest kitty is quite popular. I was even offered money for her from this one elderly man. A nice sum but barely half the price I paid for her.
I am rather curious about something though. There was a loud scuffle in the garden this morning. Who or whatever was out there was gone before anyone was out there but they seemed determined to get into The Lady. Shall have to change the locks.
An, dear, plus watch yourself and don't go out alone, not even into the garden.
I've ran the numbers countless times. An's debut came out fine but every other night....there's something going on inside The Lady too. Money is going somewhere and I will find out. Whoever is stealing from me will be caught. This is simply intolerable, especially with the amounts that are consistently coming up missing.
I don't want to blame the new girl but it's all started shortly after her arrival. I have to wonder about that incident this morning too, with someone appearing to try and break in. Is this all related? It would make sense but something seems off about that all.
