back at home..
Well...I am graduated from Alma College. Craziness. However, I still feel like a fraud and that I really don't deserve the diploma, since I do still need to student teach again and take my intro to psych class (still haven't figured that out..ugh). But nevertheless, I don't have to go back to Alma ever again. Jeez. I am in Royal Oak FOR-EVERRRRR. I started majorly cleaning my room today, because I don't know when will be the next time that I move out of this place. It is not fun. I do not enjoy the cleaning. :(
The last few days at school were a BLUR. I ended my student teaching, which was good, but I do miss my kids. The last half day with them, I was quite hungover. I did not mean to be that way, but I had too much fun the night before. I got to have conversations with people I haven't talked to in awhile, and teacher's gone wild was quite a success, even though Krissy, Stephanie and I were pretty much the only ones going wild. ;) Erin..I will never forget your "next day" story, by the way!:) ***be sure to look at my yahoo pics!!*** Anyhow, after I was done with student teaching, Vanessa's family arrived from Costa Rica! They are so wonderful..I know why Vanessa loves them so much! I wish I could have talked with them more, but everything was so crazy..especially graduation on Saturday. But after commencement, I went to the Embers in Mt. P with the family, and discovered that it is really good there. Expensive, but good. Then Nik and I went to Bethy's to hang out for the night for a last minute get together with her, her brother, Gillian and Patrick. Good times..I'm glad I stayed. On Sunday, I got to celebrate graduation with Erin's family.:)
Today, I cleaned and found out that I get to have a job for the next week. I'm going back to the law firm to file, and well..that is not going to be very exciting, but I do make good money for doing an easy task. I'm hoping I'll have time to work on some portfolio pages sometime..but who knows. I was hoping for a few extra days to get used to being back at home and sleeping in, but what can you do.
I really need to talk to Don sometime soon. This whole plan of talking/figuring out what is going on between us needs to happen...soon. I'm going to work on it.
