(no subject)
Shoot, did that weekend go by fast. And it was even a 4 day weekend. To sum it up, I did lots of shopping. Shopping for the cruise, mostly. But..I did get a super cute pair of Kangaroo shoes. They are pink leather/nylon with black trim, and they have little zipper pockets on the side of each shoe. I am IN LOVE with them. DSW also had other colors of the same style and it was really hard to decide which ones to get, but I had to convince myself that the other colors were just not reasonable. It was a difficult decision. To be honest, that was the most exciting part of my weekend.
Oh, and I came to a sudden realization while I was at the theater seeing Hitch with Don on Saturday night. While I'm interested in him, and I think he is still interested in me..nothing is going to go anywhere relationship-wise with him right now, so why spend all my time thinking about when he's going to call me next and whether he likes me or not? I'm attempting to stop, as none of the worrying is conducive to a relationship that I'm not even sure exists at the moment. Graduation is only 2 months away, and that's when I can begin thinking about what will happen next. In a sense, that's when I become a real grown-up!:O
I feel like the previous 2 paragraphs in this entry are contradictory suddenly. Maybe it shows that while you may become more mature in life, there's always going to be a part of you that remains a child. I guess I'll just have to remember that as I walk around in my hot pink tennis shoes..;)
Enough of being philosophical... Back to school again tomorrow. I need to track down the principal so that she can sign my subbing form and then I can get paid to sub! I really need money badly..no job is a bad thing for Katie.
