I actually made a hat! And came very close to understanding what it means to be 'Mad as a Hatter' dear lord my fingers may never forgive me, this wasn't hard persay...but very repetive as I attached the wire to the buckram...then stitched the pieces together, then covering it with flannel then the silk. Mostly by hand since you can't fit a stiff hat under the foot of a sewing machine!
