That's pratically a scene by scene overview given there, and one thing REALLY irks me, it appears that they have cut the scene of Harry, Snape, Dumbledore and Fudge in the Hospital Wing where Snape shows that he has a Dark Mark and is/was a Death Eater.
Given how HUGE Snape is gonna be in Books 6 and 7 why the HELL are they cutting this scene out?! Shit, it's my worst fear realized they are cutting stuff out that will be importiant, they hacked out allot of the MWPP from the 3rd flick...which plays into Book 5, they hacked out Snape's Reveal in 4...that directly plays into 5 and 6 and will be in 7! They are gonna have to do allota re-capping in the next 3 films. A SHAT load of it. Ugh.
Other irks include-
- Dumbledore's treatment/hostility toward Harry after his name comes out of the Goblet, a 180 degree contradiction of his attitude in the books
- The Twins quarreling at the Age line...again direct contradicion of the books.
My only hope is that they do a re-cut after these pre-screenings, but I doubt it.
I won't go into it all the nitpicks, but IMO, the films stunk after the first one. The First Film was fantastic, the others have been on a steady decline. Yuk...I'm gonna save myself 10 bucks and not see it in the theaters and rent it when it comes out on DVD.
