Sucky Customer Alert
I wasn't the cashier in this story but damn I wanted to slap the customer upon her behalf.
So there I was at Borders picking up a magazine, I get my mag and I head to the registers. I see there is only one cashier on duty (4pm on a Friday Afternoon so the store wasn't that busy) she is helping a customer and she's writing a check so of course it'll be a bit to get her through.
I'm next in line and a minute later this A-Hole steps up behind me, note I am holding ONE magazine and the cashier is TAKING PAYMENT from her current customer, this guy will be waiting 2 minutes TOPS to get checked out.
So it's painfully obvious that when this happened I went from content to boiling in 30 seconds.
"MA'AM YOU HAVE A LINE HERE, CALL ANOTHER CASHIER!!!"
That was said in the most RUDE and consending voice I have EVER heard I nearly turned around and smacked him, I would have if the customer hadn't been walking away from the counter and I was signaled to come up. The Cashier did call another person up so the guy got served ASAP but DAMN.
So if you are out there Borders Cashier, thank you for keeping that smile on though I have a feeling that you wanted to smack him.
