Whew...
FINALLY finished that test page last night, damn I can see why the artist is using that page as a test, it's 7 panels and three are VERY complex, most pages stop at 4-5 panels. Three of the panels feature a SWAT team in full gear pouring out of trucks and cars. With FULL backgrounds. Add to that the fact that this is a low res .jpg not a high res version or a .tif. Youch @_@. A rather good way to separate the good colorists from the lazy ones @_@. You have to be determined and good to keep up the same quality for 75 pages. Here's hoping I get the job, I'm not in dire straits, but an extra 2600.00 is nothing to sneeze at would help knock down some of my credit card debt by a fourth and pay for my new computer.
If this actually ends up PUBLISHED (faint hope there, I have a feeling this is gonna be web based, but hope springs eternal) it'll be really good for getting more jobs, 'Hey! I'm actually published! See?' The ONLY drawback to this is the fact that there could (will) be some erotica and nudity in the later half of the story. Well normally I don't do stuff like that, however paying me to color it is a WHOLE other ball of wax *grins* can't be too picky about the art when they are offering pretty good money to color the art. Hence why I feel this is gonna be web based rather than dead tree format.
Okay next on the list is to finish the graphics for the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo, I'll send what I have finished to Aaron tonight at least. Then it's to update my gallery on the Aerie with my latest pieces, last count had me at 10-12 new colored pieces acks, there's a whole new page or two there. I also have to update the Black Avengers Site, with JW unable to get online the sessions have been placed on hold till he gets back online, good time to update!
Other than that...nothing on the agenda, okay time to work..laters!
