There are things about the universe that I will never understand...
Well, lots has happened recently. We got Nikki a new MP3 player last week, and we were playing with it over the weekend, so that was neat. But now that I'm insanely jealous of her, I must have one of my own. Tim knows a guy who "came across" a crate of 4GB iPod Minis, and legend has it that he's selling them for only $125. Evidently Tim got one, and they're still in the package and everything. So yeah, sounds good. I don't want to know where these came from though. The last thing I need hanging over my head is iPod guilt over the fact that I got a cheap iPod as a result of gang warfare. :P
I got a brand new 160GB hard drive on ebay for $65. Ridonculous. I also got a replacement cable modem for $20 since mine sucks after 3 years or so of use, but it has yet to get me on the internet. I think I need to call Comcast to get them to accept the modem's address. So yeah I guess I'm on a spending spree. But, I've been learning to save money for years and avoiding becoming a gadget freak like my friends, so I guess I can afford to splurge a little bit.
Work is okay. I just found out yesterday afternoon that I might finally get more money and earn close to what I deserve. So that would be nice. I also have a meeting with the VP on Tuesday, but it's a secret meeting so I can't tell you what it's about ;) Some people know, some people will have to guess. I'll give you a hint: it's about MAJOR CORPORATE CHANGE!! Hahah, John Nixon - Director of Minesweeper! ^_^
