childish things in favor
of Responsibility;
yet here we are just
wasting away in front of
endless electronic screens.
Why did we comply when they
told us to pack up our dreams?
Why were we so blind to
their grand scheme of things?
Rather than think for ourselves
we regurgitate the same old memes.
