91101 - Where was I
Strangely, begining my rapid decent into the world of NPR as a 17 year old College freshman who didn't want to get up early one morning for breakfast.
I had started to restrict my radio intake and was listening to NPR and Cristain (both to the chagrin of my roommate).
It was my roommate who told me about the first plane.
Evil Roomie: "Scully, wake up. A plane just flew into the World Trade Center buiding."
Me: *groggly* "Dur what.... what..."
Radio: "This just in a second plane has just crashed into the World Trade Center."
Me: *wakes up imediately* "Awe man, your not kidding." "Well, that took them a while."
Of course, I didn't know who 'them' was, but of anything, I sure as heck was not surpised at the news of the event.
I dont know how many people were surprised... but it didnt seem anything that should have been really surprising... then again, I consider myself a very odd duck.
Either way the reportrayal is rediculous. IT shouldn't have happened. *head shake*
