Boo!!
I am currently living in Montgomery, Alabama. AL dirt sucks. But we have found a lot of cool stuff so all is good, I guess. Tomorrow will be the start of the seventh month of living out of a suitcase (Kathy nomadism). It's not so bad. Who needs a home anyway? Homes are overrated. So are cars. So are clothes. My field pants have almost disintegrated, my shirts are all torn and blood stained, and I have no buttons on my coat. I feel oddly proud about that.
I saw two owls today. Big white ones. That was fun. Big white grubs on the other hand, not so fun. They are all the time in my screen. Korvah. There are bunnies and turkeys and deer out here too, but I kind of wish they weren't because the gunshots sometimes sound awful close.
I'm begining to sound bitter. Hmmm. I guess I am. I miss Chicago. And I wish I wasn't so ichy. Stupid poison ivy.
