so...i got my letter back from santa fe. i didn't get into my program. but i did get chosen as an "alternate". so if someone doesn't take the position offered to them, then i might get in afterall. i have a lot of mixed emotions about it. of course i'm super bummed. but i didn't cry like i thought i was going to when i first saw the letter (you get a package if you get in, that's how you know right away whether it's good or bad). but on the other hand, i truthfully didn't expect to get in on my first attempt. so i was kinda happy about getting it. *shrugs* maybe it's because i had a shitty day on top of it.
