Day Ten: One confession.
1) I hate dealing with customers/stuff being broken/other general fuckups done by my coworkers right when I get into work. I want to get in, make my tea and start frosting the yeast rings . . . if I don't get my little routine in without being pestered I get kind of irritable for a while.
2) In fanfics I write, I'm discovering I have a thing for "saving the villain" scenarios. Not even necessarily having someone swoop to their rescue, maybe just having them make a decision that keeps them out of their canonical demise.
3) Speaking of villains, I always tend to obsess over the ones that nobody else likes or no one pays attention to. If there is a bishie villain that hordes of squeeing fangirls flock to (ala Sephiroth), I will probably almost instinctually hate them and gravitate towards someone else. To say nothing of fan villains that have similar qualities . . . fuck you, Dark Auto and Magic-n.
4) I hate the Trauma Conga Line/Deus Angst Machina tropes . . . yeah, torturing characters is fun, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere. Like that Carmen fic that I bitched about on ffrants that I sort of got in trouble with. Carmen got tortured in Morocco as a detective? Okay, I can live with that, it's a dangerous line of work. Carmen got tortured and humiliated in Morocco, not to mention raped repeatedly, it turns out the bitch responsible is the current head of ACME, and said bitch ends up demanding that Zack and Ivy have to torture Carmen later on? Yeah, how about fuck no?
5) I am a gamer and my collection is huge . . . also a lot of it is unfinished, though the ones I have finished I've probably played through at least three times or more.
6) I am technically agnostic, but think there's more than enough room in the universe for just about every god (and associated afterlife) you can think of, and even some you can't. I should really look into Shinto more, it sort of does that all inclusive thing . . .
7) My sleep schedule is utterly shot and I stay up way too late. Like now, for example . . . I should've taken my shower when I got here, and I should already be in bed. Then again, I had to warm up some from being out in the cold.
8) Asexual. Totally. Now, I like my pairings and such, I'm just not interested in it personally; too much trouble if you ask me.
9) I'd like to go back to college at some point, I just don't know what I want to do. Writing and computers are better kept as hobbies, though.
