Heh, have to post this before I forget it . . . so, Bugsy. His damn Scyther with U-turn was kicking my ass all over the place the other night, and so last night I tried again. I'd wiped the other two 'mon, and used a few of my others as meatshields between the Scyther and my Pidgey. Lightning the Flaafy managed to paralyze it before getting whacked, but I was starting to run low on decently leveled critters.
Randomly, I swap in my level 9 Onix, the one I got in a trade from Violet City . . . I am expecting it to die in one hit before getting any damage in, frankly. And then, this happens:
Rocky uses Rock Throw!
It's super effective!
*the Scyther's HP goes all the way to zero from slightly less than full*
Scyther fainted!
Cue me laughing my ass off, especially since the Onix went up three levels from killing the damn thing.
