But yeah, I've discovered the best thing to use in my dvd recorder are RW discs, because then I can use a little option called 'Make Compatible' and my computer will see the chapter markers I put in. Unfortunately I think I have to run it every time the disc gets recorded to . . . yeah, there always has to be a downside.
And in other tech-y news, I finally got my stuff off my old computer and onto a dvd+r. Copied some of the stuff over to this thing but most of it stayed on the disc. It's ridiculous just how much crap a dvd will hold . . . I got my fanfic directory, the mp3 one (which was roughly 3 and a half gigs), and a couple of my game music ones. So I have my fics now and life is good.
