Weekend - Con Planning, Website
Once more I've been quiet here but busy elsewhere. I spent a lot of time doing the coding for the site (there's a couple spots I just can't get it to do what I want and I don't know why) but I think the site is honestly at final stage. Please stop by and check it out, let me know what you think. Shadow's Knit Knacks I also got the cards in this weekend and they are gorgeous! I'll start handing those out plus adding them to the handwritten notes in packages. To me the personal touch means so much.
Saturday we realized that Kid hadn't seen The Dark Crystal so we had to fix that. She loved it! She also got her nails done. I hadn't planned on doing mine but later I realized that I'd managed to chip the polish on one fairly badly and there were a couple of spots that were catching on yarn so I did mine as well.
Speaking of nails ... I try to send a picture of the new nails to elvenjewel2012 each week or so when I do them. Is anybody else interested? I've considered posting pictures before (because I am insanely proud of myself) but figured nobody would be interested in that. I'm not going to start another blog for them, I've already got my hands full updating two. On the plus side, it'd be something that only showed up once a week or so, at the most. I like to enjoy the colors for as long as possible rather than redo them every day. If there's enough interest I'll consider it.
Sunday was a 'lot' of walking. We met up with our friend and took a tour of a hotel. Yeah ... that reads as weird as it sounds. Said tour was for a con that we're planning and after seeing some absolutely fantastic spaces there we sat down and did some talking about what else we want where and how to handle a few things. It was a very informative day and I think we got a lot of stuff talked about before Lynn and I had to leave to take Miss Kid home.
