Obi Wan LJ - Shoes Help
I wear boots in the colder part of the year. Since I'm in Texas that means that typically I wear flip flops for 9 months and boots for 3. Normally I have no problem finding my boots since Wal-mart typically carries them. However now I have a problem. My current pair of boots have been serving me wonderfully for 4 years and they really need to be retired. Problem? I can't find replacement boots at a reasonable price. I'm used to paying about $20 for these boots.
This is what I'm looking for:
I really need real leather, laces, and a side zipper. The platform and heel keep my feet from hurting as much as they normally would and I seriously will wear these practically everywhere.
I've poked around online and have been unable to find any that are less than the $65 pair I found at Amazon; I also prefer them at 8.5 instead of 9 because despite wearing them with thick socks, or layered socks, they can sometimes be a little loose. And while Lynn's willing to buy these for me I'm not willing to wait until the new year (December is when I'll really start needing them) and I'd really rather not pay that much for them if I can find them locally for less.
Can anybody help?
