2 Days of Bliss

Wednesday Lynn stopped by Whole Foods and picked up our cake while I got dressed to go out and finished up a couple of things here at the apartment.

We started off our day at CoCo's Crepes and Coffee. I got the creme brulee crepe and Lynn go the banana's foster crepe. We ate half and then switched. We love to share with each other. It was such a gorgeous day and I loved sitting out in the sun watching the world pass by with my Love beside me. It was a very relaxing way to start our day.

After that we did a bit of shopping. Last year for gifts we went the traditional route and gave each other gifts of paper. This year we continued that and went for cotton. So our gift to each other was new Egyptian cotton sheets in black and new pillows. We also did quite a bit of other shoping so by the time we finished that we were ready for a little break.

We stopped in at Winetopia and indulged in their sampler platter and rice popcorn along with a glass of wine for each of us. The cheese and meat were very tasty and perfect with the wine the waiter helped us pick out. The chocolate was very, very good. I loved the rice things too, they were just enough taste to be good but clean enough to make you ready for the next tasty bite.  We're really looking at going back some time to try one of their pizzas since all but one of those looked good, and the one was only because I'm not a fan of sausage.

Then we went by Bedrock Comics and got our monthly stack of comics. We did a bit of looking around as well and dug through the stacks to find a couple we were looking for. I talked to one of the guys and found that I was 'not' loosing my mind. Grimm Fairy Tales 'had' done an arc that splintered and had several issues in their various sub-series. Because of the way it was titled I couldn't just ask for that to be on my pull list. Luckily I'll only have to dig through the stacks the next time I'm there for 3 issues that I'm missing as I was able to get the others this time.

After that we decided that we wanted a bit more to eat since the sampler had been mostly a small thing. So we walked next door to Dumpling King and had dinner there. While they were good, they were more like what I know as potstickers. I want to take Lynn to this place I've been to with the Manga Club that had really good dumplings.

Getting home and sliding between those brand new sheets and putting our heads on those soft pillows was wonderful. Having Lynn beside me, holding me close, made it perfect.

Thursday was a lazy day. We slept in, read comics, watched a bit of our digitial shows, and just spent the day with each other. If I could I'd spend every day like that, just wrapped up in each other's love.
