Welcome to
furzicle ! Feel free to poke around and ask questions.
Happiest of days to
worldofmichelle ! I hope today is delightful for you and the coming year is full of laughter and joy.
Saturday was a bit busy. Lynn did some running around while I got caught up on online stuff. He stopped by the apartments we'd decided to go with to check how much they would need for a deposit and brought the application home for me to fill out. He got the money order and dropped off the application, an hour later they called back. We're approved for the apartment! I spent most of the day in City for double xp weekend while Lynn spent time with Miss Kid.
I got a huge laugh when Lynn looked over my shoulder and asked me what location I was in. It's not easy to always answer that in the game because it's either Heroes or Villain side. Then it's broken down into different city zones and then further broken down into sections of those zones, and sometimes the missions are underground or on a different plane of existence. I said I wasn't sure what he was asking by asking the location. He said something about what forest I was in. Miss Kid spoke up: "Uh dad, it's pretty obvious she's in a cave." Indeed I was and we both congratulated her for using her eyes to answer the question. I then explained that I was redside (aka villain side) in Sharkhead isle and doing a cave mission. Miss Kid also figured out what the mission was by reading the top of the screen where my objective was stated.
Sunday I woke up with some of the most unbelievable pain in my hips. To the point where I could barely crawl out of bed to go to the bathroom. I started crying harder when Lynn came to help because I didn't want him to see me cry. Damn female logic. It had actually started Saturday after breakfast. All was fine and I got up to put dishes away and nearly face planted when I leaned over to take something out of the dishwasher because it felt like somebody clubbed me with a bat. From hip to hip and down to about the half way point on my butt was nothing but electric fire and ground glass in the joints if I tried to move. I was more than willing to take something for it though. Sunday morning though I could barely even walk. Lynn drew a hot bath for me to sit in and I took three extra strength Tylenol since I didn't want to go back to the generic vicodin I have left over from my hospital stay unless the Tylenol didn't help. After all that and a massage from Lynn I was able to finally walk again. This morning I'm still feeling very tender and sore, it hurts if I move but manageable pain. Once I get settled I'm usually good so I should be okay sitting. The odd thing was that Saturday morning I didn't really do any exercises that called for a lot of twisting or anything. I felt a bit off and weak but nothing that would have explained this.
I heard back from the apartment this morning. The unit they have for us is on the third floor. When we were there we said a couple of times that we really didn't want third floor, preferred first but would be okay with second. So now, after talking with Lynn, I need to call back and see if they have a first or second floor opening up at the end of next month and can use the deposit to hold our spot in line for that. They might have a second floor opening up the second weekend in April but we can't afford to pay rent on both places. *crosses fingers*
So how was your weekend?
