Weekend Recap

Saturday:
apisanthrop had to work so I drove out to his workplace and picked him up for lunch. We stopped in at a place we hadn't tried before, Berry Hill, which is apparently a Mexican restaurant. It was ... interesting. You order at the front with a couple of cashiers and then get your own drinks, chips, and dip and find a table. Eventually a guy brings your food out to you. It's very different, which is not to say bad, just not the norm. I had a seafood chimichanga and he had a beef burrito; though the sauce they put on both was seafood flavored. When he finally escaped from work we settled down in front of the fireplace with dinner to watch The Wedding Planner. Big candle on the table, fire behind us, fuzzy blankets, and his arms around me .... heaven, pure heaven. After the movie there were other shenanigans but I'm not telling about them. *wink*

Sunday:
After a breakfast of mushroom and cheese omelets Apis  focused on adding in all the recent additions to the library. I wanted all the books shelved properly before Thanksgiving and that was the last day to do it. We ended up making a trip to Wal-mart for a new set of shelves since our Wall 'o Books has run out of room. While there we also picked up a new pair of lounge pants for me and a pair for Miss Kid since it's getting a bit cooler. There was also a stop by Big Lots where fuzzy socks on sale were acquired. Yes, I am that easily pleased.

Looking forward:
Monday night: Wedding stuffs
Tuesday night: Grocery shopping for the last of T-day fixings, setting up cooking schedule for Thursday
Wednesday night: Putting together all the cold food for T-day dinner
Thursday: Miss Kid in parade and stuffing ourselves silly(er)
Friday/Saturday: Apis has work for a few hours, after that who knows. Maybe a trip to a park will be in order.
