Slug Sunday
We started our day a bit late ... but what a reason to stay in bed! *grin*
Spent most of the day lazing around. We've played on the computers, watched a movie, taken a nap (poor old man can't keep up with his young girl *wink*), and thumbed through cookbooks. Now we're settling in for another movie and dinner which will be followed by the milk cake we made yesterday.
I made a couple calls for Father's Day, but since one says he doesn't know anybody by my name (I gave the name he raised me with) and the other seems vaguely disappointed in my life and my choices I'm not really focusing on those. I know Dad wishes I'd fall in with somebody closer to my age ... but I'm happy where I'm at. I thought Apis might get a call today but it doesn't seem like it. Instead my mom called hoping to talk to her new best friend, his daughter. *smile* People are strange.
