This has always been a favorite song of mine. Between the beats, his voice, and the lyrics it just curls up inside me. I think part of it is because he loves her so much he wants to be with her, forever. That's one of my big things, I want to be wanted. Yeah, yeah, some say he's talking about turning her into a vampire like him*, but he wants her, even if it's only to feed on, at least she's wanted. That's the part that gets me, the knowing that you are wanted.

*The band denies that. Besides, it's far more likely it's about the murders that happened at Possum Kingdom Lake, Tx, which, yeah, makes me sick** but that's not the part that gets me anyhow.
