Valentine's Day
I felt so loved and wanted this Valentine's. Not that Jon doesn't do that all the time, but this weekend was different.
Naturally we have to celebrate in our own, unique, way. Jon bought me a Wii U and that came in Friday so we spent a bit of time setting that up. I also have a shield and a sword core on the way, so I'll have a strap shield of my own soon, as well as a shorter, more streamlined sword. Since I got paid we stopped by the game store and picked up 3 games for him.
Saturday he surprised me with the complete set of Avatar: The Last Airbender. After work he stopped by Walmart to hopefully pick up the light I'd found online so I can knit at home a bit more. No light on the shelves, but it'll be there tonight thanks to in store pick up. Meanwhile he came home with Lego Hobbit for the Wii U. We went out to see Kingsmen and the dinner at Olive Garden. We both really enjoyed the movie and want to own it when it comes out.
Sunday was fighter practice of course. I was doing okay until I wasn't. I very suddenly felt very tired and not well. But I felt better that evening once we were back home and had rested. I still went to bed early though, after snuggling on the couch with Jon for a bit.
It's not about the presents, though they are nice. I never felt like a burden, or like Jon didn't want to be with me, doing things with me. It was very clear that it was all for me, but he was enjoying it too. I love how I feel when I'm with him. I love how Jon makes me feel wanted, loved, and special all the time.
