I had a mother like that. I don't speak to her anymore.

Strange thing is ... Kid's mother doesn't have a good relationship with her own mother, for some of the same reasons.

So she grew up to be her mother instead of breaking the cycle? Sad. :(

Yeah. Currently Kid shares my opinion on kids, and thus shows o interest in having them, but that could change. She's only 11 after all and I know that not everybody knows when they're that young like I did. But, should she decide in the future that she does want change I'm hoping very much that she'll decide that her kid(s) will be raised differently.
