Dear Kiddo

Hey Kiddo, I hope you had fun on your layover.  Are you settling in well?  Hubby and I took dad to the movies on Friday as a distraction... you will never guess what movie he picked... yup a battle/war movie.  I was not excited at all to go, but I was very excited to spend time with him.  The movie, overall,  was good, but there were parts that were hard for me to watch.  They just plain scared me... Is this what it will be like for you?  Could this happen to you (Without the E.T.s of course)?  It was an eye opener, and I did not really like what I saw...
On a better note, my Military Prayer card came in the mail on Monday!  You altar is still in the works, but I created sacred space for you last night, repeating my version of the prayer (it is written from the soldier's POV) and sending you some good vibes.  It felt REALLY good!

Let's see, what else has happened that you would want to know about... Work is still great.  Brought Harley in last Friday and he spent most of the day FARTING!!  It was so embarrassing!!!  He is banned from work!  Shasta is a much better office dog!  I brought brownie bites in for the drivers, and my boss is counting points, so he is staying away from such things... so I really enjoyed watching his inner battle with wanting a brownie!

Hmmmm, so Sunday we started to game again, it has been just too darn long... took us forever to even create new characters.  We added a new player to our group and are now up to 4!!  I am playing two characters, a dwarf thief and a human (or so she thinks) cleric.  I am really enjoying the interaction.  We are just having trouble with the logistics (the new person works Fri-Sun only and his gf works Mon...) But we will get this all worked out.  We want to game and will not let these little logistics keep up down!

Anyway, I miss you so very much, and hope you are keeping safe... no matter how boring it may be!!

I love you Kiddo,
Sissy
