Ryan and I are finally planning a trip to japan. As in, we are actually buying the tickets this week for a trip in early April. I'm soooooo excited.
Of course, now I'll have to seriously start studying Japanese, both oral and written. I'm quite familiar with mandarin and could probably get around China alright, but my knowledge of Japanese language is extremely limited. They say Japanese is simpler than Mandarin, so here's hoping.
I think we'll spend a couple of days in Tokyo and a couple in Kyoto, trying to go pretty cheap (as cheap as you can in such an expensive country). Rock ON.
