On Vacation with the Cat
Sally (points to icon) had to have surgery today and the vet sent us to the best Veterinary hospital in this region of the country - 200 miles away. So one sleepy person and one sleepy cat crawled out of bed at 4:00 am to make the trek here. So I'm currently stuck in a cheap hotel room in Knoxville with nothing to do but catch up on paperwork and browse the Internet. I've actually gotten more work done today than I would have if I had actually been in the office.
To stay in Knoxville was going to be a minimum of $129 a night, but to go 10 miles south it goes to $49! I chose to go cheap hotel it is just me and I just need a waiting place to crash, but it is actually clean, fresh, WARM, and nice. Sure there's no free breakfast, but all I really need is my Internet.
