Why on earth did I ever think that I could handle FOUR master's level classes at the same time??? This is insane! Yes, I work for the university and I'm helping develop the MBA program. I never wanted a business degree and I ended up with a BS in Organizational Development because I worked for a company that paid for my education. Now I'm working on an MBA under the same circumstances (different company). I'd much rather have a degree in history or literature or philosophy or, most especially, design. Sigh . . .
For those who don't know, here's the deal: I am the artist who is designing all the conceptual art for an online MBA program for a university. I have to read the textbook for each class, work with the author and professors and create illustrations to match their concepts. The university offered me the chance to go through the program tuition free! Even if I don't want an MBA, how can I turn that down? If I'm going to put all that hard work and research into each class, I'm DAMMED if I won't get the degree! I am about 1 semester ahead of the student in developing the program. So I am currently taking 2 classes and developing 2 different ones. I don't know how long I can keep this up!
