They're staying at a hotel in the Keystone world; it's a tacit admission that none of them really want to go back to the house in White Plains. Eddie will fly them back to Castle Rock in the morning. X has gone home; they've had dinner with a jet-lagged Charlie and Ted, who are now in their own hotel rooms with a wake-up call in place for an early flight back to Taos. Eddie's turned in early, too, but Susannah is sleepless. She sits at the window and watches the traffic pass.
