But if anyone's gotten an AIM message form ME or anyone else that says "This looks like you" and hten has a link. DON'T CLICK IT.I thought it was a picture but it downloads something onto your computer. Once downloaded it makes a shortcut on your desktop. If you try to delete the shortcut, it says the file is in use and can't be acsessed.
If your'e still on your AIM account after it downloads, it starts opening up chat windows with everyone on your buddylist and sends the same mesage to them. They'll think the same thing open it and it'll start over. I sent it to about 17 people on my buddy list before I coudl even sign out. Two of my friends now HAVE the virus thanks to me. And all I had to do was click the link. I'm not even sure what this virus does, but I don't want to find out. I'm in the middle of removing it... I just hope my virus protection software can completely clear it...
Be warned, if you get a mesage like that, don't click the link. Just ignore it, don't IM the person back because they won't be able to answer, I was barely able to sign off.
