Yasswe Arafat, Miss Tea Towel from 1998-2000 has past away. I am genuinly greifed by the loss of an icon. I am also hopping there wont be the normal toerrent of "Yehaws" from people who simply don't understand what life for the people of Palistien was like. One Isreali minister has already said he was glad he was dead, but the Prime Minister has so far had the sence to stay quiet. I myslef have tried explaining to people who have caled me anti semite (never even ocured to me that such a thing could exist before I was cused of it) why I agree with arafat's strugle. Although I always prefer the diplomatic path there is very little to reason with a tank chassing down an eight year old girl. I've been acused by Republicans in the usa of beliving too much of the 'Liberal' media. Well, I hardly think that bbc News has the resources to fake such a site. Then there's the british MP's (members of Parliment, not Militery Police) who were shot at indescriminatly by Isreal Troops. I just hope that Arafat's people continue to try and make the peace process work, and that the Isreal Goverment to use this time to attack. Persoanlly, I find it fitting he died on Armstice day, Hopfully the idea of war's ending will inspire some people.

On a lighter note, the cloak is coming well. I'm jsut going to hang out the washing on possibly the last drying day until spring before I get back into the garage.
