what's friendditto?

ok folks, does anyone know what friendditto is? It seams to be an automated archiving service but there seams to be HUGE argument about it. Some people claim that if you go there you can see posts that were marked as private, but becuase a registered friend signed up with friendditto then anyone can see it from the friendditto site.

I have no primary information on this though as the friendditto site just shows a page asking for donations. Any one have a friendditto acount, or seen an acount before the site went down? PLease, I'm curious
