Yes, I'm still alive! I post more on quick randomness and craft projects on Facebook than here, but that has to do with all the writing and reading for classes. If my classes were more interesting then I probably wouldn't have the lull in my popping in here. Thank gods for this semester wrapping up all my math credits, government, and Texas History. I am liking my art history class and looking forward to writing my 15-page research paper over a Horus/Osiris piece. So wasn't interested and trudged through the book report and book for Texas History. Then there's the one to three reports a week in math along with regular math problems. Government is every two weeks of answering over 100 short answer study guide questions. Ooohh... reminds me, our final report for that class should be coming up soon. Dec 15th... Last day of finals! My last assignment for the week I have is actually due next Monday by noon, but since I won't be anywhere near the Internet for research and camping isn't conductive to laptops in the weather since my textbook is online, a one page math report on symmetry in everyday life. There's also being gone from Friday morning to Sunday night and that's the time for hot showers and fuzzy socks, might as well get it in early. I should knock that out in less than an hour tomorrow. I am taking my art history book and notebook to work on my discussion questions.
This weekend though, faire!! Looking forward to getting to be in my new corset again. Well, new for me, Mia outgrew it. Too bad her and Maddie won't be there, but I'll get to say hi to Wendy. Not looking forward to some of the... elements that will be there. Yay for the power of civil, but not over extending it.
What else, what else..... My to be read pile is overflowing on my nightstand with currently.... 12 books on there. Not including the ones on my shelf I plan to get to at some point. In a couple weeks I get to bake a princess birthday cake and deer birthday cupcakes for one weekend of festivities. Tyler's birthday, then my niece Katie has her birthday, and that weekend all six of them down south are coming up here for the normal Christmas weekend. They get to their Aunt Mina, grandma Penny, grandpa Johnny, and Oma. Of course, I'll be down there with them the whole week before, so.... yeah, I spoil my niece and nephew, my girl and her hubby by getting them away for a whole weekend of baked treats and experimental recipes.
