Spoke with my mother last night - who apparently talked to her guidance counselor at work and found out that all across the country there will be openings for guidance counselors in 3-4 years - right after I will have gotten my masters - and that she would be thrilled to set-up an internship for me when the time comes. Also, the school I want to go to is apparently very highly respected and I have connections on the staff there that I had not been aware of. Heh - it's not what you know...
