Last night I fell asleep on the couch. This was because apparently on nights that I'm very bouncy or hyper - for random reasons such as happy phone calls ;) - I often can't fall asleep in my bed and a change in venue helps me to drift off fairly quickly. Well, this morning I woke up to music in that background and the feel of something soft yet pointy hitting my hand. Sarah's alarm was going off (music alarm) and Hazel had taken that as a sign that she would be fed soon. No Sarah in evidence and since I was clearly out of my room and available, I must be the human to feed her. I have never seen her quite that insistant. However, she and I will need to discuss how she might best accomplish being fed by me in the future. A) waking me up but clawed paw is not the happiest way to attract my attention B) once convincing me to get off of my duff and find my way back to Sarah's closet for the food, excitedly throwing herself against my feet is _not_ the best way to get me and her safely to our destination C) promptly ignoring me in favor of scarfing down said food is not likely to gain her bonus points.
Hello. I do not have a pet cat, Hazel has a pet me.
