I know, i know, i barely update anymore. But here I am. I'm sick. I don't know why or how, but I am. Kinda feverish, sore throat, runny nose, headache, feelin like im gonna blow chunks. yay. I felt ok when i woke up today, I just felt real tired, and about an hour after I got into work it hit me real hard. I was scheduled til 10, and at about 8:30 I asked if I could leave early. My mgr said no prob, just not right now. Well, I wound up staying a half hour late because some dumb bitch I work with was taking her sweet time doing everything, including stuffing her face with a half gallon of ice cream. I had to wait for her to get back from her damn break, and she must have gone over by at least 20 minutes. Fucker. Anyway, I came home tonight and popped 3 migraine meds and 2 cold meds. I feel a bit better now, my migraine's gone and my throat doesnt hurt as bad. Good stuff.
So, this past monday I started at the golf course. Fucking HATED it. Ugh my god. I enjoy gardening. I really do. But not for 8 hours straight. I did so much weeding and pruning I wanted to shoot myself in the damn head. After I weeded EVERYTHING, he had me go to one of the tee's, where there was a bunch of shrubbery. Between a row of everygreens and azaleas were these Ginormous weeds growing that looked like trees. They were totally taking over. So, I had to go between these shrubs and cut down all the killer weeds of death. I was wearing shorts, so my legs got all cut up. I was fucking miserable. Up until yesterday I was still hurting from monday. So, at first I was just not gonna go back. Then I figured i'd finish out the week so i could get some money. THEN I said hell no, and i'd call him and tell him I quit. Well, when i went to call, i found out i had the wrong number. SO finally i got the right number, and i havent called him at all. I was supposed to work wed. and today, but i never called. I feel like such a bitch, such scum. I think i'm just gonna call in a little while and leave a message. *sigh*
Why did I give up so soon, you may ask? Well, I realized that I dont really need it, and my boss at Domino's said he could give me more hours. And I like it at Domino's. I have a good time when i'm there, people amuse me. Amy asked me to get her an application today, but I don't want her working there. I work with too many guys who will be all up on her in a second. She's too good looking to work there, lol. And she's too innocent and vulnerable. Yeah. What can i say, i must protect her. ^_^
soooo. OH! I got a credit card yesterday! A few weeks ago I got invitations to apply for two different credit cards, and I got accepted by the Visa Capital One company! I only have a $300 credit line, but it's ok! And there's no annual fee, and for my first credit card the APR is pretty good. I'm still waiting to hear back from CitiBank, however, because i'd prefer to have their card. It's specifically for students, so there's no annual fee and the APR is only 9.99%, which is awesome. So yeah. I'm somebody now! And my card is all pretty, it's got perdy mountains on it!
My LJ is pissing me off. I need a new layout again. I need one that's good for 800x600. So my text and all needs to be smaller. I cant change the pixels, cuz its too small for mom to read. Hmm. Emily darling, can you help me?
grrrr i hate being sick. it's no fun at all. And why on a friday? GAH! Hopefull a good night sleep will make me feel better. I'm supposed to go to the pool with sam tomorrow. I need to get my tan on again. Im sick of being pale. i'm so tempted to go tanning, but it's not good for my precious tattoo anymore. But Tan City is only $20 a month right now, it's a steal! Be strong corrine, be strong!
I cant wait to get started paying everything i have to pay for. I REALLY need to start paying Kali back. I feel like such a loser that i havent paid her back yet. I'm surprised she's not charging me interest. She'll have it soon. Yes.
