Notes: This is a celebration for Yabu's birthday. It's a made up prompt. It's a little late but, hey, as long as it's still January 31 here. ^^; Main focus is the TakaBu pairing by the way.
I.
"Otanjoubi Omedetou, Yabu-kun!" Yamada and Yuto said at the same time. They both held out nicely wrapped gifts in front of Yabu. Yabu was taken aback but smiled gratefully at the two HS7 members.
"Arigato, Yamada, Nakajima." Yabu smiled as he accepted the gifts.
"I hope you have a lot more to come, Yabu-kun." Yuto said cheerfully.
"Yes, you're already 19. Yabu-senpai." Yamada said with a smug.
"Yes and-- OI!" Yabu blurted out but just laughed it off. "Don't call me senpai, alright?"
"Hai, hai. Jaa, we have to do get to our photoshoot now." Yamada said while getting a hold of Yuto's hand.
"Mata ne, Yabu-kun!" Yuto said as he lets Yamada pull him towards the studio.
Yabu simply smiled as he eyed on the presents. But he frowns a little as he looked at the intertwined hands of Yamada and Yuto.

"Otanjoubi Omedetou, Yabu-kun!" Hikaru practically jumped in front of Yabu, who just entered the door of the dressing room and squealed in surprise.
Hikaru laughed as he gave Yabu his gift while Keito followed closely with a silent chuckle.
"Happy Birthday, Yabu-kun." Keito said in english and handed over his gift to Yabu.
"Arigato, Hikaru." Yabu said as he accepted the gift. "Thank you, Keito." Yabu tried his best to speak in english as he accepted the gift and Keito smiled back.
"We have some errands to run, we'll see you later ne, Yabu-kun?" Keito said and Yabu nodded.
Keito grabbed the wrist of a hyper Hikaru and they both exited the dressing room.
Yabu sighed.
It's not that he's not happy...but there are some things that just make him sad.
III.
Yabu was prepared to go home when Chinen and Ryutaro went up to him.
"Yabu-kun!!!" Chinen and Ryutaro called making the oldest member of JUMP startled. Chinen and Ryutaro giggled as they presented their gifts to Yabu.
"Otanjoubi Omedetou!" Chinen said and Yabu happily accepted the gift. "19, right? Yabu-kun you are ol-"
Ryutaro placed a hand on Chinen's mouth before Chinen could finish his sentence.
"Maa, Chii is just bitter about you scolding him yesterday. Otanjoubi Omedetou, Yabu-kun!" Ryutaro stated while keeping his hand firm over Chinen's lips.
Yabu laughed and ruffled the hair of Chinen and Ryutaro.
"Arigato, Chinen. Arigato, Ryutaro." Yabu smiled as he took the gifts.
"Ne, since you're older now, can you reprimand us lesser?" Chinen said pouting and Ryutaro furrowed his eyebrows on Chinen.
Chinen noticed and gave a questioning expression.
"Whaaaat?" Chinen asked innocently.
Yabu smiled at the adorableness of the two young members.
"Jaa, I'll see the two of you tomorrow."
"Hai! Sayonara!" Chinen and Ryutaro answered. Yabu smiled. He then turned around and started walking with a frown on his face.
This day is definitely something. Even the youngest members are more contented than I am...and to think it's my birthday.

Before Yabu completely exited the jimusho, he heard two voices calling him.
"Yabu! Yabu!"
Yabu, deep in thought, turned around in astonishment and saw Inoo and Daiki running toward him. Yabu watched as they both arrived in front of him panting.
"Why didn't you wait for us? I thought we're going home all together?" Inoo asked as he stood straight.
"Oh...yeah. Sorry about that. I just have...a lot on my mind I guess." Yabu said as he raised his hand to massage his forehead.
"A lot on your mind? On your birthday? You shouldn't really be thinking about work, you know. You deserve a break." Daiki explained and Yabu merely nodded and smiled.
"Arigato. Sorry about leaving you guys." Yabu said rubbing the back of his head.
Yabu ended up walking home together with Inoo and Daiki. Before they said their goodbyes to each other, Yabu received some gifts once again and gave his gratitude.
Yabu had to separate from Inoo and Daiki. Apart from his home being in a different direction, there's just something between Inoo and Daiki he cannot stand.
No, it's not that he doesn't like them. But what Inoo and Daiki have, Yabu simply doesn't.

Yabu walked down the usual street he walks everyday. This day just loves to tease him. There were lovers everywhere he looked. Yabu looked down and bit his lip. He adjusts his bag, which was heavy from all the gifts he received.
He doesn't feel contented but why would he get a greeting from him? From the looks of it, neither of them would give up. There's a huge barrier between Yabu and him right now. Yabu's not apologizing. Neither is he.
Yabu sighed. A birthday with something missing.
Just great.
Yabu continued walking as he looked up. He saw a familiar figure, leaning on the wall with arms crossed.
"About time you came." The figure spoke and pushed himself away from the wall to face Yabu.
"T-Takaki?" Yabu was stunned as his eyes widened.
"Who else?" Takaki spoke in the same velvety voice as he raised his hands and shrugged.
Yabu kept quiet and looked to the side. Takaki started to approach him and then suddenly, a small box was held in front of him.
"Happy Birthday." Takaki said nonchalantly as he also looked in different direction.
Yabu raised his hand to take the gift and accidentally touched Takaki's hand...and then everything stopped. Takaki moved swiftly and smoothly and pulled Yabu's hand. He pushed Yabu to the wall and crashed his lips to him.
Yabu dropped his bag and placed his arms around Takaki. It took a long while before Takaki released and Yabu opened his eyes.
"You're older. But I'm still...and will always be sexier." Takaki said with a smirk. Yabu laughed out heartily. Takaki smiled.
"I thought you forgot." Yabu said blushing and turned to the ground.
"Not really. I just thought you might want it that way." Takaki said encircling his arms around Yabu's waist.
"What?"
"Save the best for last." Takaki said with another confident smug and Yabu laughed again as he leaned forehead on Takaki's.
Yabu now knew it's the other way around.
This might be one of the greatest birthdays of his life.
