Notes: If you are familiar with the story of the two rabbits, then you will know that, that is what inspired me to write this fic. It's just that of course, instead of using the rabbits in the story, I changed it to YamaJima in the conversation.
The cold night wind blew gently and Yamada curled a little as he moved closer to Yuto. Yuto felt a head on his shoulder and shifted his eyes to look down. He smiled faintly and acknowledged Yamada's cuddling. He placed an arm around and pulled the older boy to him.
Yuto leaned his head on top of Yamada's. Yamada sighed as he looked up at the star-filled sky. He batted his eyelashes as he focused his gaze on the huge, white sphere that grabbed his attention more.
Yamada pondered as he leaned closer on Yuto's chest.
"Yuto..." Yamada started, breaking the silence between him and Yuto.
"Hm?" Yuto hummed a low sound. He gently shifted his head to bury his nose on the shorter boy's hair and his hand stroked Yamada's locks softly. He sighed in contentment as he enjoyed the fragrance.
"...how far is the moon from here?" Yamada asked suddenly and Yuto withdrew to give Yamada a look.
"Well, I don't really know, Yama-chan. All I know is that it's really, really far that you can't count the distance."
"Wow, really?" Yamada said as looked at Yuto in the eyes.
"Yes, really." Yuto replied as he gave Yamada a slight smile.
Yamada nodded and then went back to staring up at the sky. There was a long silence before Yuto decided to question Yamada about the topic.
"Why did you ask?" Yuto said, blinking his eyes.
"Nothing. I love you." Yamada replied and smiled warmly at Yuto.
"I know, Yama-chan." Yuto said as he pulled Yamada back to him.
"I love you from here to the moon." Yamada said childishly as he hugged Yuto back.
"I love you more." Yuto said with an obvious smile in his voice. Yamada drew back once more to look at Yuto.
"You can't love me more. From here to the moon is already countless." Yamada pouted and Yuto smiled widely trying to stifle a laugh.
"Yes, I can." Yuto said as he touched his forehead to the shorter boy's so that his nose gently caressed Yamada's repeatedly. "Because I love you from here, to the moon...
...and then back."
Yuto closed the remaining space between them and Yamada smiled in the kiss.
