Be thankful. Never take things forgranted.
Wow I just realized how long it has been since I have updated this thing. Let’s see my birthday was around 2 weeks ago. I turned 18 woohoo go me… After school Stephanie went home with me and we got clothes because we were staying the night up at my dads house instead of at my Grandma’s where I am staying at. After that we went and picked up Caitlin. We went to Everlasting Impressions and I got my tongue pierced. That was pretty awesome. It didn’t hurt when I got it done, but it hurt some the next day. And that is about it for my birthday.
Last weekend the tornado came. It came really late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. It tore up some parts of Newburgh. It’s like it just chose random parts and came down and hit. People from our school lost their homes and a lot of things they loved. We had no school Monday or Tuesday because of it. When we went back to school Wednesday there were not a lot of people there and you could just feel the sadness in the air. In first period a lot of people left to go help volunteer… I left with Katie Hadley and we went to Crossroads and they sent us over to Morningside to help. We picked up debri and pieces of peoples homes. The effect will stay with me forever. We road back to Crossroads a few hours later. I ran into Starla and Kali there so I road back out with them. This time when I went back I opened my eyes more and looked around. It was just so sad to see peoples houses destroyed. It has really showed me that I should be more thankful. I am glad that this was something I got to see with my friends because if I would’ve been alone I probably would have lost it.
This past weekend was okay. On Friday I was suppose to hang out with Trudi, but that didn’t happen because of stuff… I called Starla and her and Kali came to meet up with me. We went over to Jeremy’s house and hung out Dylan, Keshawn, Jeremy, Snow, Mike and Alyssa. After that I stayed the night with Starla and that was fun. Saturday I got up and went to see my dad and helped pick up the house. Then I had to work 5-11pm. Then Sunday I had to work 11:30am-5pm.
Well I think that this is good enough so bye.
