Give it up to Shih-Chi

I'm going to regret saying this:

The new teacher, Shih-Chi Liang, is one tough cookie. Her sharp critique and ruthless remarks were definatelydefinitely
Good.

I wish every teacher were like her. Demanding our best. We will never achieve our best unless pushed as so. This is definitely the quarter from hell. For most of us, we have: 2D1, Life Drawing, Storyboarding, and Character and Object Design. I knew it would be hard, but damn, this is crazy. A 10 second animation, 240 drawings. 3 life like drawings of people every week for Kevin. Drawing, and redrawing, and redrawing over and over again for Kevin again in storyboarding. and Shih-Chi's character drawings. She was quite unclear on what she wanted from us for our first assignment. Even though we asked her thoroughly. She said she wanted many characters, drawn several ways. But when showing them to her, she said she wanted 1 or 2 characters, 25 ways. At any rate, if we can juggle this mess of assignments and do the best that we can, we will progress as students, and more importantly, artists in our field. Here's to the best quarter for animation students yet. (im so going to regret saying that...)

In other news, I am extremely sick, and dependent upon Dayquil. blah... Good news: I am going to be in the ambassador program hopefully. Ive got my nomination and will be pursuing it.
My school involvement now consists of Student Government, Christian Fellowship, and Ambassador program. I also want to join Siggraph.

alrighty then, work calls (literally)
lata
p.s. Join student government
