Hey everyone I hope everyone had a great 4th!
I stepped out of the box this year and went north to spend the weekend with my 'rents. It turned out to be a really nice weekend even though I did kinda have a minor tweak out while at the Norman Rockwell Museum on Saturday. There were sooooo many people there I couldn't take it. I got snappy and bitchy. Added to the fact that i forgot my "happy" pills it was a rough day..
Friday we walked around Saratoga and checked out some really cool shops. I'll have to get back there. We stopped a a neat little crepe place and got a cone of pomme frittes with different dipping sauces.Yummy. Then we stopped at Ben and Jerry's for some ice cream to cool us off.
Saturday we also went to the Troy Farmers Market and I got the Boyle's pickled garlic and Aioli for my self. I also got some delicious White Chocolate Peanut Butter that I am planning on using to make a batch of PB Ice Cream, I think i might put ribbons of hot fudge into it for a kinda PB Cup experience.
All in all a very nice Birthday weekend.
