Two weekends ago (16th) was my 6-month anniversary. It's hard to believe... Part of it, I'm surprised that we've only known each other for this long 'cause it feels like we've been together for much longer. At the same time, I'm surprised that it's already been 6 months...
We went to Pete Miller's, a very fancy steakhouse. You know it's a fancy place, here in Evanston, if you see lots of old people around. :P And then a walk to the observatory here on campus and a nice stroll around the lake. If only I wasn't freezing on the lakeshore, we might have stayed longer.
Plans for the summer: Although some of you are close to getting out of school now (good for you), I'm still a long way from that. However, my plans for the summer are sort of set? I'm still waiting to hear back from IDOT, but if that happens, I'll be back in St. Louis for the entire summer. If I don't get that job, I will be here in Chicago for the whole summer.
No matter where I stay, however, I will be back in St. Louis for a week, starting June 12. So we should make plans! Where are you guys going to be?
