Ficcage Ramblings
I started a new fanfic today, tentatively titled Ninja in the Night.
Fear it. For it is (probably) another multi-chapter deal (why oh WHY do I keep getting myself sucked into these things?) and it concerns Inuzuka Hana, Kamizuki Izumo, Hagane Kotetsu, and Tatami Iwashi. On a mission. Together. Trying very hard not to strangle each other.
Life is fun!
But Phoenix is not fond of the summary. She says it reads like a risque romance in the making. (When Inuzuka Hana comes back to active duty, she’s hoping for a mission that will test her skills and dedication to the limit, and she gets one. Only problem is, her teammates-serious Iwashi, snarky Kotetsu, and playboy Izumo-are testing her temper even more.)
I...can see her point. So although I meant solely to concentrate on the theme of getting along with people you despise, perhaps I can add a little risqueness in there...

Before you start hyperventilating, realize that I am teasing. Take a deep breath. It's okay. NO ROMANCE FOR KI-CHAN. She writes it badly.
Instead I shall be focusing on (non-romantic) character interaction and introspection and development, and I shall simply have to change the summary.
Out to save the world, fleshing out one minor character at a time~
Edit: After reading through the amazingly amusing attacks on snarky_ffff, I looked back at the above summary and realized that it probably would get snarked, too. Man it stinks. Phoenix, save me from the evil summaries of d00m!
...Although I'm still enjoying writing the fic...
