The reality of it all still hasn't quite hit home, yet. I've just received a huge welcome pack with all sorts of information on courses and accommodation and meetings and all sorts. It's slowly sinking in that I only have a month left living in Glasgow, living at home, living with my parents, living with anyone I'm related to, living near my friends. I'm excited, but I just never allowed myself to really imagine university life with all of the new experiences, living arrangements, education and friendships it will bring. Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to it.
Anyway, went to Aileen's last night (thanks for having us up!), and got incredibly drunk. I ended up pretty much hungover by the time I left, which wasn't a good end to an otherwise fantastic day. However, with that pushed to the back of my mind, yesterday was great. Everyone has been really pleased for me and I'm dead chuffed. My gran even gave me £100 :gobsmacked:. Thanks for your support the last few months, guys. (I'm sure you all know who you are!) It wasn't easy or particularly fun, but it's been worth it. Aside from UCAS and exams and all the rest of it, I've had a fantastic year so far. I have the best friends anyone could ask for, and I'm going to do my utmost to keep in touch with every last one of you. You've been warned!
Today I'm going to sit back and recover from last night, as I'm feeling a tad fragile, haha, and contemplate what to put on my "To-Do" list. So much to do, so little time to do it in! So, for now,
I'm away laughing on a fast camel...
