Staying up late to finish all your homework -- although much better than being up late and not finishing -- still means you're going to feel exhausted in the morning. Slightly more accomplished, but definitely exhausted.

Edit: Also, "Hunger" by Elise Blackwell was pretty good. Not quite sure what to make of it yet (I don't think I'll have much time to ponder it until tonight), but I enjoyed it.
