Scion Game One

After last night's session, I took some quick notes about game. As I have woken myself up with a fit of coughing, I shall post what parts I can while waiting for the meds to cradle me in their warm and loving arms again.

I was sick and doped up yesterday, so I tried to keep it a light, fun game, oriented more on character and world interaction, instead of heavily plot-based.

Pros

*Every character has met and interacted with at least two others. This will make the eventual transition to a team that much easier.

*I'm starting to get a bead on the characters. This will make it much easier for me to make them cry personalize the character interactions. ~_^

*Got a few plot-balls rolling, including one that I didn't expect to introduce for another few sessions, and a few that just sprung up (full-grown from my head!) during game.

*Dinner was quite tasty.

*Everyone was really understanding that I was so not on the ball yesterday. Thanks guys.

*Everyone seemed to have fun.

Cons

*Doped up on Dayquil. Let's hope this is a one-time issue

*Issues with playlist. Pemby was being slow and dumb, and I couldn't find all my music

*Things felt cramped, and I didn't really have much mobility.

*NEED to do better voices/character traits. All my NPCs started to merge together which IS NOT COOL.

*Gameplay was scattered. Half of this was the usual "characters aren't all in one big group yet" the other half was me being on drugs again. I need to be better at balancing playtime amongst everyone.

*Must find better way of organizing notes!!!111oneone

To Do's and Notes

*Flesh out NPC's. Differentiate them one from another, vocally & personality-wise

*Find some better way to have stuff organized around me. Shuffling through papers is really embarassing.

*SET UP PLAYLIST EARLY! Or don't use one at all. Either way, fighting with Pemby is not a productive use of game time.

*Weave characters together more tightly.

*Add more red herrings. Every game needs more red herrings.

*Should I move? In the center of the table, I'm ppretty equidistant from all the players. At the head, I might have more room/mobility, but I'll be further away from some folks, who may then lose my attention. Thoughts?
